Everything You Need to Know About the Ashley Hall Halloween Carnival!
CARNIVAL DETAILS:
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30 | 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
$15 PER STUDENT
Enjoy 15 student-run booths, four division-appropriate inflatables, karaoke, a photo booth, and, of course, Mystery Treats!
REGISTRATION (ONLY STUDENTS IN EARLY SCHOOL – GRADE 6):
-Registration gives students access to all booths and activities, with the exception of food and raffle tickets.
-The cost is $15 per student.
-Admission is free for students in grades 7-12, adults, and children under the age of 2.
-Registration will be available online and operates on the honor system. While families may register on the day of the Carnival, we kindly ask that you register in advance to help us plan attendance.
SCHOOL-DAY SCHEDULE AND ATTENDANCE:
Lunch will be provided to all students before the Carnival begins. No Extended Day or auxiliary programs will be offered for any grade level on Carnival day.
EARLY SCHOOL – GRADE 2 DETAILS:
-Students must be signed out by an adult from their classroom before the Carnival, between 12 and 12:10 p.m.
-Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the event.
-There will be no carpool or Extended Day available for Early School or Lower School (K-2) students.
-For a smooth and speedy entry, we encourage all parents or guardians who plan to attend the Carnival to check in in advance at Pardue Reception.
ALL OTHER GRADES:
Students in grades 3 and above may attend the Carnival independently. Carpool will operate from 2:45 p.m.–3:15 p.m.
RAFFLE TICKETS:
Raffle tickets will be available at the Carnival: one for $5 or five for $20. Some examples of this year’s raffle items include a Princess Playhouse, Rainbow Loom, KidsSmart Watch, two 50’ LED remote room lights, and Halloween baking supplies, just to name a few. Winners will be announced via email later that afternoon, and winners may collect their prize the following day in the Rivers Library Atrium.
FOOD AND TREATS:
Soft pretzels, popcorn, seltzer water, and lemonade will be offered for $1 each at the Goblin Cafe outside the Dining Commons (cash, Apple Pay, and credit/debit cards accepted). Sunny Daze Ice Cream and King of Pops will be on campus selling assorted treats for $3-$7 (cash, Apple Pay, credit/debit, and Venmo accepted). Water stations will also be available throughout the Carnival grounds.
