Upper School Book Festival 2026

November 11–13
Curated for Readers in Grades 9–12 & their Families
Lane Student Life Center
Hours: 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Every great story has a main character. This November 11–13, it’s your turn to take center stage!
Now held in the fall, the Upper School Book Festival will take place in the Lane Student Life Center, bringing three days of books, fun, and opportunities to discover your next favorite read! Featuring artwork by Olivia Roper ‘30, “Main Character Energy: Be Your Own Hero,” the festival celebrates the power of stories and reminds us that we each can write our own.
The festival is curated for readers in grades 9–12 and will feature a fantastic selection of titles. Whether you’re searching for your next page-turner, discovering a new author, or getting a head start on holiday shopping, there’s something for everyone!
And there’s more to the story than books! Throughout the festival, students can enjoy daily raffles, a themed photo booth, and other fun activities. We’ll also welcome GRIT Bakery to campus, adding something sweet to the festivities!

Charleston’s own Buxton Books will partner with Ashley Hall to provide a carefully selected collection of books for the Upper School Book Festival.
