Ashley Hall is a jewel in the heart of downtown Charleston. But it’s not our historic buildings and oak-canopied grounds that make our campus so special. It’s our students. Programs

An Ashley Hall education reflects a thoughtful and developmentally appropriate approach to the teaching and learning process. Our program is designed to meet the needs of the individual student, recognizing and honoring how she learns best. The Ashley Hall Orientation Day provides parents with all the information needed to begin their student’s school year smoothly, including introduction and training of our Learning Commons, the Ashley Hall online parent portal. We can’t wait to see everyone on campus!

AUGUST 20

EARLY EDUCATION CENTER ORIENTATION SCHEDULE
Pre-Primary Parents
Grade Level Meeting | 1:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. | Burges Auditorium

Primary Parents

Parents are asked not to bring their children to Orientation Day— thank you. Be sure to visit the Orientation Fair located in the Dining Commons throughout the day to learn more about exciting campus activities planned throughout the year.

LOWER SCHOOL ORIENTATION SCHEDULE
9:00 a.m.–9:45 a.m. Kindergarten parents | Burges Auditorium followed by classroom visit
10:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. 1st through 4th grade parents | Davies Auditorium followed by classroom visit
11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. 5th and 6th grade parents | Burges Auditorium followed by classroom visit
Lower School families will want to arrive five minutes ahead of time to allow for student drop-off at Pardue Hall (Lower School) or Lane Hall (Intermediate Program) before parent meetings begin. Don’t forget to visit the Orientation Fair located in the Dining Commons throughout the day to learn more about exciting campus activities planned throughout the year.

UPPER SCHOOL ORIENTATION SCHEDULE
12:30 p.m.–1:30 p.m. | 7th and 8th grade students meet with administration and advisors
1:30 p.m.–2:00 p.m. | 7th and 8th grade students and parents meet with administration
2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m. | 9th and 10th grade students meet with administration and advisors
3:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m. | 9th and 10th grade students and parents meet with administration
4:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. | 11th and 12th grade students meet with administration and advisors
5:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m. | 11th and 12th grade students and parents meet with administration
