Congratulations to seniors Margaret Legerton and Gamble Ouzts who were just named Carolina Scholars, the most significant award given by the University of South Carolina to in-state students. Out of an applicant pool of over 8,800 students from SC, 50 finalists were chosen and invited to Columbia for a scholarship interview weekend. After the weekend, Margaret and Gamble were two of the 20 selected as Carolina Scholars. In addition to academic and housing benefits, the scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year! PQV girls!
