Junior Internship Program

The Junior Internship Program is designed to give eleventh-grade students an opportunity to explore the world outside the classroom through challenging work and service. Students will arrange for internships that allow them to experience the day-to-day activities of working professionals in a field they may wish to pursue as a career or a field they find interesting and wish to learn more about. While specific duties and work schedules will vary according to the nature of the internship, the overall experience should entail meaningful exposure to the demands and rewards of the field. Internships must be planned with specific educational goals in mind and performed without any type of financial remuneration. The internships take place during the last week of the school year and are a requirement for graduation.
