Upper School Math Tutor

Ashley Hall, an independent school for girls located in historic Charleston, SC, seeks qualified candidates for an in-house mathematics tutor for the Upper School (grades 7-12). The position will be 60% plus benefits. Applicants should be capable of teaching the full range of courses from Algebra to Precalculus, including Geometry. Familiarity with STEM programs and interdisciplinary studies is desirable. Additional qualifications include five or more years of secondary school teaching experience (independent school experience preferred) and at least a Master’s degree in Mathematics. Elementary Home Room Teacher

Ashley Hall, an independent school for girls is looking for an Elementary Home room Teacher. The successful candidate must be able to plan and implement curriculum and instruction in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. He or she must also have the ability to collaborate with colleagues within the Lower School division and throughout the school as a whole. A homeroom teacher designs and implements inquiry-based project learning experiences, guided by student interests. Classroom instruction includes whole group, small group, and individualized instruction. The ability to communicate clearly and the ability to work well with parents are essential in this position. Qualifications include five or more years teaching experience (independent school experience preferred) and at least a Master's degree. Institutional Advancement Office Manager

Office Manager needed for Institutional Advancement Department. Duties will focus on all areas of support to the Institutional office. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communications skills, both oral and written. He or she must be able to manage multiple projects; a working knowledge and expertise with Blackbaud databases is a plus. Must be proficient in MS office. College degree preferred.

Summer Fest Camp School Van Drivers

Ashley Hall Summer Fest Camp, beginning June 18th to July 27th, running Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 2:30pm has the following opening:

School Van Drivers, candidates must be 25 years of age, and fulfill all requirements for driving the school vehicles. Before driving a van, the employee must hold a valid South Carolina driver’s license and fill out the SC Department of Motor Vehicles Request for Diver’s Information form for a SC driver’s license to be checked and approved. The candidate must also pass all necessary background checks to work with children.

Part-Time Housekeeping

Duties include stocking and cleaning bathrooms, school rooms, vacuuming rooms and stairs, dusting, mopping, removing trash and other cleaning tasks as assigned. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Mandatory pre employment testing.

Monday through Friday 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
