Alumnae Board

Dear Ashley Hall Alumnae,

Welcome back to Ashley Hall! Centennial celebrations brought many back to campus but if you haven't been on campus lately, we encourage you to visit. The old and new traditions together with the new facilities and positive energy are contagious and impressive.

Alumnae involvement is essential to the success of our school. The mission of the Alumnae Association Board is to support Ashley Hall by connecting and involving Ashley Hall women with one another, the school and their communities. The Alumnae Board also supports fundraising efforts in conjunction with the Office of Institutional Advancement and thanks you for supporting the Loyalty Fund and your commitment to the girls, the school and its mission.

The Alumnae Board is made up of approximately 28 local alumnae from a range of class years. The group has fun working to increase alumnae involvement on campus and to raise funds to purchase the Senior Pins and help provide alumnae scholarships. It also helps plan and organize our annual Alumnae Weekend, the Graduation Pinning Ceremony, the Senior/Alumnae Luncheon and other events throughout the year.

As an alumna, you are always encouraged to serve on the Alumnae Association and to attend and participate in campus events, athletic events and special programs. Feeling the spirit of the school and watching the girls unite to achieve their goals is empowering. This year's alumnae events include the Jubilee Society Luncheon (December 9th), the Young Alumnae Brunch (December 16th), the Oyster Roast (January 20th), the Senior Luncheon (February 8th) and Alumnae Weekend (April 13th & 14th). We will also be hosting 4-6 local events during the fall and spring in an effort to keep our 1200 local alumnae involved and up-to-date with Ashley Hall.

Volunteering is a great way to connect with local alumnae. Please contact a board member or the Director of Constituent Relations at (843) 965-8454 to sign up to volunteer. Serving on the Alumnae Board is yet another way of strengthening old friendships, creating new friendships and becoming more aware of Ashley Hall's strengths and overall community involvement. We hope you will support and become active in our activities this year.

Sincerely,
Margie Davis Barham '86
Alumnae Association President
