The 2nd graders
became junior astronomers during their "Where in the Solar System is Ashley
Hall?" unit! After a visit to the Star Lab with Mrs. McCarty, the 2nd
graders invited their parents into the classrooms to share their planet
research projects. Parents also participated in activities such as placing the
planets in the correct order from the sun, creating constellation pictures out
of paper cups, and making an altimeter! The entire event was out of this world!
